Silvaj Agro began with a simple observation: India's goat milk was excellent and nearly invisible outside its own neighbourhood. Everything we've built since exists to change that — without changing what made it good in the first place.
Most goat dairies pick one identity: a family farm selling raw milk locally, or a processor blending away what makes each herd distinct. We chose to be both — a working farm that also built the infrastructure to test, process, and export at scale.
Silvaj Agro Pvt. Ltd. is based in Pune, Maharashtra, where our processing facility handles up to 6,000 litres of goat milk a day — testing, pasteurising, and packaging what used to only ever reach the nearest local market. Every product in our range, from fresh milk to aged cheese, exists because we built the capability to keep goat milk's quality intact well past the farm gate.

“We are not building just another dairy brand. We are building an integrated goat-dairy ecosystem where animal welfare, scientific processing, farmer partnerships and premium products work together — from the herd to the global market.”
To build India’s most trusted and integrated goat dairy ecosystem connecting farmers, science, technology and premium nutrition from farm to global markets.
To transform goat milk into high-quality, value-added dairy products through responsible farming, scientific processing and end-to-end traceability while creating sustainable value for farmers, consumers and communities.
Better for the herd. Better for farmers. Better for consumers. Better for the planet.
Five things that shape every decision, from the farm to the export container.
We test what we claim, and document what we test.
The same standard, whether it's headed to a local shelf or an export container.
Our contract farming model exists so growth benefits the herd owners, not just the company.
Resource use, waste, and animal welfare are operational decisions, not marketing lines.
We invest in processing capability most goat dairies our size skip entirely.
For decades, goat milk in India has been treated as a home-remedy niche rather than a category worth real infrastructure. We disagree. The same rigour applied to cow dairy — cold chain, food safety certification, formulation science — is exactly what goat milk needs to reach hotels, hospitals, manufacturers, and export markets on equal footing.
Silvaj Agro Private Limited was incorporated with a vision to build an integrated goat farming, dairy processing, and value-added products ecosystem.
Initiated our contract farming model to develop a scalable farmer network for organized goat farming and milk procurement.
The first 500-goat farming project was approved in March 2026, followed by two additional 500-goat projects, creating a combined capacity of 1,500 goats and approximately 2,000 litres/day milk production capacity.
Development pipeline of 100 goat-farming projects in Satara, targeting an aggregate livestock capacity of approximately 10,000 goats and 10,000 litres/day of goat milk.
Planned commencement and scale-up of goat milk processing, including fresh milk, cheese, fermented dairy products, ghee and other value-added products.
Expansion into product R&D, shelf-life development, international quality standards, certifications and export-market readiness for selected goat-milk and value-added products.
Continuously expanding contract farming, livestock development, milk procurement and farmer partnerships to create a traceable and scalable goat dairy supply chain.
Expanding processing capacity, broadening our cheese and nutrition lines, and building direct export relationships across Middle East and Southeast Asian markets — while keeping every farmer partnership at the centre of that growth.
